(Oslo 27.04.21) Telenor Norge AS has chosen Norwegian IoT specialist Meshtech to deliver their next generation pet trackers. Together with DyreID, the parties will develop a pet tracker to meet the increased interest people show in monitoring their beloved pets.
Arendal based Meshtech AS has entered into an agreement with Telenor to codevelop and supply their next generation pet trackers.
“We have introduced pet trackers to our customer base over the last few months, and have received feedback showing strong customer engagement, said Telenor PM, Even Reiten. “Now we will bring this valuable customer insight into our joint development project with Meshtech and DyreID, to develop the next generation tracker. We chose Meshtech because of their strong hardware and firmware competencies, as well as their flexible way of work,” said Reiten.

There is an increasing interest from pet owners to know their pet's position and get insight into vital health data related to their pets.
